What is trauma?
"The essence of trauma, at its purest level, is disconnect from the self... Every human has a true genuinne authentic self. The trauma is the disconnection from it. The healing is the reconnection with it." Gabor Maté Trauma is an event or series of events that impacts our sense of safety and security. If you enter the word, "trauma" into Google, you will find countless results. Many of these results will provide contradictory definitions. At the end of the day, the definition doesn't matter; what matters is that you experienced something that shook you. It shook you and you never felt like you came back to who you are; maybe you never got the chance to learn who you are. In our work together, I will work alongside you and support you as you rediscover yourself.Google Sites
